The Story Session
Some of the moments you'll miss most someday aren't the big, perfectly planned ones.
They're the ordinary evenings. The muddy boots. The wildflowers tucked behind little ears. Gathering eggs, exploring a creek, chasing your children through a field, or sitting together on the porch as the sun goes down.
The Story Session was created to preserve those moments.
While a traditional portrait session is a beautiful way to document your family, a Story Session gives us the opportunity to create something more intentional and uniquely yours.
Rather than simply choosing a pretty location and posing for an hour, we'll plan an experience around your family's story.

The Experience
Your Story Session begins before we ever pick up the camera.
We'll talk about your family, the things you love doing together, and the little details you never want to forget. From there, we'll dream up a setting and experience that feels authentic to you.
Most outdoor Story Sessions take place around golden hour, when the light is soft, warm, and dreamy. This is my favorite time to photograph families and helps create the natural, timeless look that defines my work.
You don't need to know how to pose.
You don't need perfectly behaved children.
And you certainly don't need to create a picture-perfect evening.
Just come ready to be together. I'll take care of the rest.
