Our Pregnancy Announcement: A Moment to Cherish


I’ve always had a soft spot for sweet pregnancy announcements, maybe even more than a traditional maternity session! There’s something so exciting about sharing the news with friends and family that you're expecting, and finally letting go of that secret you’ve been holding onto. Trust me, that was so hard to do!

Colby and I decided to take our own photos for the announcement. Now, I'll be honest—self-portraits aren't always the easiest! Not every shot is perfectly in focus (hello, tripod struggles!), but despite that, these photos are some of my absolute favorites of us. They capture a moment in time that is so special to both of us.

Lately, I’ve also fallen in love with lifestyle photography. It’s all about capturing real, unposed moments that showcase the beauty in everyday life. It’s a style that feels so natural and relaxed, and it’s been so fun to incorporate into our own milestones. What I love most is how it allows you to include all the little details that are part of your story—including our fur babies!

So, meet our first-borns: Nala and Zia, who are now officially the best big sisters to our sweet little girl, Annalee! We’re beyond excited to grow our family, and we couldn’t be happier to share this new chapter of our lives with you.
